New York Cheesecake (2 ways!)

Come get a slice of a good, old-fashioned New York Cheesecake! But, that’s not all… This recipe is a revolutionary dessert post for at350degrees! I’ve teamed up with Brooke, the Sweet Prima Donna, to bring you two amazing cheesecake creations! (Brooke’s fantastic dessert blog features mouthwatering, guilt-free desserts!) I baked a New York Cheesecake, a delectable, classic favorite with a sweet graham cracker crust and creamy cream cheese filling. I don’t typically like cheesecake, but this recipe had me licking my fork! The cream cheese filing is so light and tasty, and a tiny hint of lemon gives the filling an ultimate depth of flavor. I even added some cream cheese frosting to decorate the top! This New York Cheesecake is a must-add to everyone’s recipe collection!! Enjoy!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Chocolate covered strawberries are my go-to dessert for a super simple, delicious, and somewhat healthy treat! I love making these sweet snacks because there’s so much flexibility; you can be creative by using different chocolates, designs, and toppings! Have fun decorating!

Recipe: Melt chocolate of choice (I use chocolate chips, but anything would work) in a heatproof bowl. Thickly spread chocolate onto strawberries. Place chocolate covered strawberries in fridge to harden slightly (about 5 min). Melt second chocolate of choice and scoop into pastry bag. Take out chilled strawberries and decorate them as desired.

***NOTE: Try chocolate-dipping all of your favorite fruits! Also try making chocolate covered graham crackers, cookies, marshmallows, or any other fun treats!

Strawberry Shortcakes (Guilt-Free!)

While waiting for the cookies in the Celebration Whoopie Pies to cool, I concocted my very own inventive experiment: mini strawberry shortcakes! I’ve never actually tried a real strawberry shortcake before, but here’s me being a scientist; simply take two cookies, scoop on a heaping spoon of cool whip, add some sliced fresh strawberries and oila! A super easy and delicious guilt-free snack!

Single Lady Blueberry Muffins (Healthy!)

Chocolate Covered Katie is quite possibly one my favorite food bloggers. EVER. She bakes healthy and guilt-free vegan desserts that still taste fantastic! I use the non-vegan versions, though, because I think they taste richer and more authentic. Because I absolutely love her baked oatmeals, I decided to try her “Single Lady Cupcakes” for an afternoon snack. Muffins are one of my favorite desserts, and I like blueberry muffins even more, so this recipe was my soulmate! The muffins are fluffy, delicious, and best of all low-cal! Enjoy!

***NOTE: You can put whatever you like in the muffins, or leave  them plain. Also, the recipe is designed to make one huge muffin, but I split it up into two medium sized ones instead.
