candy-corn-pumpkinsIt’s almost Thanksgiving! (AKA time to stuff yourselves until your pants can’t button anymore…) Personally, I’d rather pass on all the traditional dishes and head straight for dessert, so here are a few of my favorite pumpkin recipes to make for you and your family to enjoy! Pumpkin Spice Biscotti

cov

The “PSL”, or Pumpkin Spice Latte, is the go-to fall drink of choice for the majority  of my peers. Surprisingly, I’m not a fan of the sugary festivities inside a Starbucks holiday cup; however, I do, enjoy a similar sweet and spicy flavor in my baked goods. My sister loves crispy, crunchy foods, so it’s no surprise that she loves biscotti cookies, including these Pumpkin Spice ones!  Continue reading

Chocolate Twist Cookies (Upgraded Black & White Cookies)

PicMonkey, a free photo editing site contacted me a few weeks ago to start a membership trial. When I’ve searched for recipes on Pinterest in the past, I always admired the decorative pictures with cool fronts and titles, so I decided this was the perfect time to try a new level of editing  my pictures. If you’re an observant follower, you might’ve already noticed this new interest with the updated header and picture on the homepage of “At 350 Degrees”. (My Soft & Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies do look pretty delicious, if I do say so myself!) Continue reading

Cinnamon Sugar Mandel Bread (Almond Biscotti)

IMG_7463

In celebration of Jewish New Year this month, I went back to the basics to make traditional cinnamon sugar mandel bread (aka mandelbrot).  Every year, I would eagerly wait for my cousin in Chicago to send them to us in the mail, reserving a whole bag just for myself! A few years later, I tried baking these cookies myself, and I realized how similar they are to an Italian biscotti in flavor, texture, and recipe. So, if you liked my previous Chocolate Dipped Almond Biscotti or Double Chocolate Pistachio Biscotti posts, this is the recipe for you! Continue reading

Cinnamon Streusel Pancakes

IMG_6598

In one of my latest posts, Almond Joy Baked Oatmeal, I promised to feature more healthy and nutritious dessert recipes, so this afternoon I tried making a paleo pumpkin cookie recipe. Fortunately, they were wheat and dairy free; unfortunately, you could definitely tell. And because nothing is more disappointing that a less than tasty dessert, I had to try these cinnamon streusel pancakes to uplift my dejected taste buds. Continue reading

Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies

IMG_6033

Hi, my name is Carissa and I’m an Oreo addict. I mean, what would be the point of frozen yogurt if you couldn’t drown swirls of vanilla bean froyo in crushed Oreos?! These cookie’s facts really are fun because I love looking at each country’s own special Oreo flavors like China’s Green Tea Oreos, Argentina’s Oreo Alfajors, and Mexico’s Oreo Trio Chocolates. I honestly don’t know what makes an Oreo so delicious, but to make me stray away from my strict acceptance of only soft and chewy cookies, an Oreo must be something specialContinue reading
