My favorite part of winter break is waking up late to enjoy leisurely breakfasts, my all-time favorite meal! I love eating breakfast foods at all times of the day, so naturally I was attracted to this delectable Cinnamon Toast recipe that I found recently. Because there’s no better time for a midnight snack than between writing an endless amount of college essays, this sweet treat tasted especially delicious! Continue reading
A donut and a croissant walked into a bar……And soon after, their lovechild the cronut was born!
I challenge myself to bake almost all desserts, but I stop myself when it comes to frying. That means no donuts or churros for me, but obviously I strayed from my rule when it came to making cronuts. I had first tried one while out shopping because as sale promotion, the department store passed around a shiny platter of assorted cronuts. ( And I certainly didn’t pass up free dessert!) Today, I had to take a round of SAT Subject tests. While it’s not the ideal way to start off the weekend, it is an excuse to eat an extraordinarily delicious breakfast! So, I combined some of my favorite things–banana and french toast–for this AH-MAZING baked banana bread pudding. Continue reading

Personal Training studio, has authored four health and motivational books (Nicki Anderson’s Single Step Weight Loss and 101 Ways to Motivate Your Clients and Increase Retention), and is a health and fitness contributor to websites, magazines, and newspapers. It seems like it’s been a while since I’ve posted because I just got back from a summer program at Yale! Now that I’m back home and ready to celebrate the final month of summer, you can expect a bunch of dessert recipes coming your way this upcoming August! Most of my stay in New Haven was characterized by innumerable frozen yogurt runs to escape sweltering heat, humidity, and non air-conditioned dorm rooms, but now I can also say that I definitely understand the “Freshman 15”…huge buffets for every meal make cookies, pasta, and vanilla almond granola just an extra scoop away. But now that I’m back (with some added pre-college padding) you might be noticing some more healthy dessert and breakfast recipe postings, but don’t worry, I won’t hold back on my usual indulgent, Paula Deen style recipes!
