I enjoy fall for two main reasons: wearing rain boots and eating pumpkin baked goods. Pumpkin is most acceptable during the autumn months, so I’ve decided to make the most of this sweet and spicy flavor while it’s welcome! I’ve been craving chocolate chip pumpkin cookies for a while and I was very excited to finally give this recipe a try. Although I do love my classic flavors, this is a welcome change from traditional chocolate chip or sugar cookies. They taste like biting into a pumpkin pie, of course with some added chocolate flair. ‘Tis the season with these festive cookies because before you know it, gingerbread and peppermint will take over the spotlight for the wintertime! Enjoy!
Recipe: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
***NOTE: Like my Soft & Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe, I like my cookies especially chewy, so I strongly recommend substituting half of the sugar for brown sugar to create that deliciously buttery and sweet taste and texture.
