Pumpkin Spice Biscotti

cov

The “PSL”, or Pumpkin Spice Latte, is the go-to fall drink of choice for the majority  of my peers. Surprisingly, I’m not a fan of the sugary festivities inside a Starbucks holiday cup; however, I do, enjoy a similar sweet and spicy flavor in my baked goods. My sister loves crispy, crunchy foods, so it’s no surprise that she loves biscotti cookies, including these Pumpkin Spice ones! At first glance, a biscotti recipe can appear daunting, but it’s really quite easy: bake once, cut, and bake again. I also love making them because they are very customizable, from the chocolate chips, nuts, and dried fruit you can add inside to the glaze and chocolate coating on the outside…The possibilities really are endless! You can also decide how soft or crunchy you want your biscotti by adjusting the second baking time. These cookies are perfect for the holidays and would make a beautiful homemade gift when topped with a bow. Enjoy!

  1. You don’t like pumpkin spice lattes?! I don’t know if I’ve ever met someone who doesn’t like it! You should try asking them to only do one pump of the flavoring. It’ll be less sweet that way, but still nice and festive!
