Chocolate Twist Cookies (Upgraded Black & White Cookies)

coo

PicMonkey, a free photo editing site contacted me a few weeks ago to start a membership trial. When I’ve searched for recipes on Pinterest in the past, I always admired the decorative pictures with cool fronts and titles, so I decided this was the perfect time to try a new level of editing  my pictures. If you’re an observant follower, you might’ve already noticed this new interest with the updated header and picture on the homepage of “At 350 Degrees”. (My Soft & Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies do look pretty delicious, if I do say so myself!) This amazing Chocolate Twist Cookie recipe had been sitting in my “Cookie Recipes” bookmark folder for a very long time, but I finally made them last week to bring to school for advisory snack. Not to my surprise, they were certainly worth the wait! With sweet bits of white and dark chocolate chips, the cookies were flavorful, soft, and most importantly chewy (the sign of a perfect cookie). They remind me of traditional Black and White bakery cookies; the exception: these twist cookies are much tastier! Sure to please both chocolate and vanilla lovers, these cookies look as impressive as they taste, especially warm out of the oven with a tall glass of milk! Enjoy!

  1. I’ve been using picmonkey for a while now…just bought the upgrade and not too sure if it’s worth it yet. My father in law pointed out that it does decrease the quality of your photos a tiny bit. Just compare the stats of your pic before and after. I don’t think it makes much of a difference and I love using the filters and frames, and yes the fonts!

    • I think I’ll take the words and decorations over the picture quality. But that’s interesting; I’ll have to watch out. Let me know what you think…I just started my upgraded package this week!
