When I started At350Degrees about a year ago, my grandpa bought me a flambe torch as a “housewarming” gift; its very first job: a gorgeous Lemon Meringue Pie. Originally, I made this pie for my second dessert post, but because I accidentally burned the meringue and the pictures weren’t quite up to par, I decided to remake it. And this time around, the pie had to be great. I used this outstanding recipe with a creamy lemon filling and luscious whipped cream-like meringue. This recipe is unique because the lemon filling is more creamy than transparent and jello-like, the way I think I think all Lemon Meringue Pies should be made! With the delicious and fluffy meringue, this pie was truly amazing; it not only looked delicious, but tasted delicious! Stride by the intimidation that comes with making meringue because it appears way more extravagant than it is! I fully recommend this recipe to amaze any of your guests and this pie is a way better version of the original. Enjoy!!

Your pie looks gorgeous, especially that vibrant lemon filling! I love the new blog layout too – super cute!
Thanks for noticing! :)
Ironically I just searched for the Key Lime Pie repice my mom used to make. Low and behold I have a postcard version from 1963 that’s Gran’ma Gold’s Original Key Lime Pie Recipe. Maybe it’s nostalgic, but it’s my favorite version of key lime pie. Not many places in Key West even make it this way- with the exception of Blue Heaven who makes a mile high meringue in top of theirs. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
that looks so delicious !!! YUMMYYY
