Caramel Crepes (Panqueques con Dulce de Leche)

IMG_3502
Happy New Year! I wanted to start the new year off right with my favorite meal: breakfast! I thought  crepes would be absolutely perfect because I loved making the Nutella Crepes and because my family had some dulce de leche left in the fridge, which I wanted to use before my dad finished the whole can! When he was a kid, one of his favorite desserts in Argentina was “panqueques con dulce de leche”, or caramel-filled crepes. Crepes are such a fantastic treat because they are incredibly easy to make, and you can fill them with an endless possibility of sweet (or savory) treats! One of my favorite part about crepes is watching people make them; it’s mesmerizing! You can watch the video below to see how it’s done (when making them at home, you can just use a big saucepan)! Enjoy!!
